glass of smoothie surrounded by apples

This AIP Apple Pie Smoothie is easy to make, good for you and tastes just like pie. That’s hard to beat! I’ll be making this smoothie every time I’m craving a piece of apple pie.

How do you make a smooth smoothie?

I highly recommend using a high speed blender. I survived for years using a regular blender and chewing my smoothies. It was fine but I really prefer drinking a smooth smoothie.

How to make an AIP Apple Pie Smoothie.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender then blend until smooth.

Tips for making the best AIP Apple Pie Smoothie.

    • Use the best in season apples you can find. I like fuji because they are the sweetest but any apple will do.
    • Use a high speed blender. This is the exact Vitamix that I use and love.
    • This smoothie is all fruit so if you are on the AIP diet, this is definitely a treat. Two bananas and two apples is a lot of  sugar, even if it’s just fruit.

    AIP Apple Pie Smoothie

This AIP Apple Pie Smoothie has that cinnamony sweet apple taste that you love in apple pie. However, this smoothie is made of whole ingredients and has no added sugar. It’s much healthier than the real thing. This recipe fits the vegan, whole30, paleo and AIP diets.

    Helpful Info for All Recipes

    • I always use extra virgin olive oil in all of my recipes unless stated otherwise.
    • I always use Himalayan sea salt or Celtic sea salt, unless otherwise noted.
    • The majority of my recipes are strict AIP or include notations for reintroductions. However while I make every effort to label non-AIP ingredients and recipes sometimes they slip past me. If you have questions, please ask in advance.
