package with red bow and words holiday gift guide for aip lifestyle

If you’ve got a friend or loved one following the autoimmune protocol diet, then this Holiday Gift Guide for the AIP lifestyle will help you choose the perfect gift. Or if you are following the AIP diet yourself, you can easily forward this onto a friend to use as your AIP friendly wish list.

    Books

    The Nutrient-Dense Kitchen

The Nutrient Dense Cookbook: All Hail Mickey Trescott. Her recipes are AIP staples and this cookbook is on my own wish list this year.

    The Healing Kitchen

This is the OG AIP cookbook.

30 Minute Meals for the Paleo AIP

This is a personal favorite as I was a contributor to this community cookbook. All the recipes are actually full meals, which can be made for a family of 4 in 30 minutes or less. It’s a really great resource. Just a heads up though, this is an ecookbook

The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook: A DIY Guide to Living Well with Chronic Illness

This book is a great introduction to the AIP lifestyle. It gives a comprehensive look at autoimmune disease and how the AIP diet and lifestyle could help. This would make a great gift for an AIP diet newbie.

    Self Care

    Rebounder or Trampoline

A rebounder is a great way to exercise if you don't have much stamina. You can move your body without wiping yourself out.

    THE SPA at Primally Pure

I personally love the Clarify Facial. It includes Gua Sha and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, which not only feels fantastic but helps detoxify and relieve congestion. I realize that not everyone is within driving distance of THIS spa but a gift certificate to ANY spa would be amazing. Whether you choose a facial or a massage, your stress will just melt away.

    Household and Personal Items

    Essential Oil Diffuser for Aromatherapy

A few drops of lavender oil in my diffuser at night helps me drift off to sleep peacefully. I also love eucalyptus to help with a stuffy nose when I’m under the weather. I prefer a ceramic diffuser to reduce the use of plastic. Plus it’s just a beautiful piece to have in your home.

    Live House Plant Collection

According to a NASA study, some pants have the ability to clean the air around us. When you’re living the AIP lifestyle it’s important to remove toxins from you life including the ones in the air! This is another thoughtful hostess gift.

    Safer Skincare Products

Your skin in your largest organ and it absorbs everything you put on it. Therefore you need to be careful about your skincare products, as most companies don’t have very high standards when it comes to safety. Beautycounter bans 1500 potential harmful ingredients and is my trusted source for beauty products. Here are my favorite gift items.

    Food Items

    Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This is my favorite brand of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It’s cold pressed and packaged in dark glass with an expiration date. This would make a great hostess favor for someone that loves cooking or appreciates high quality food like myself. I used to bring wine to parties but now I bring olive oil!

    Red Boat Vietnamese Fish Sauce

This fish sauce is one of the only brands that I’ve found that doesn’t have any added sugar. Add this with another food item and you have a great gift. You can use both the fish sauce and the sweet potato noodles in my AIP Hot Pot recipe. Your AIP eating friend will probably love this duo as a gift!

    Organic Sweet Potato Glass Noodle

This is my favorite brand of sweet potato noodles as they are organic. You can use both the fish sauce and the sweet potato noodles in my AIP Hot Pot recipe. Your AIP eating friend will probably love this duo as a gift!

    Simply AIP Box

This is a monthly box of AIP items that are delivered directly to your door. Get $5 off your first box with the code BONAIPPETIT5.

    Cassava Flour

AIP flours are so expensive that a bag of Cassava flour would be a welcome gift.

    Appliances

    Immersion Blender

I use my immersion blender often. It makes soups and sauces super simple to prepare. It’s a pretty affordable gift.

    Food Dehydrator

If you want to make your own snacks, a dehydrator is a fun kitchen tool. I’m constantly making Kale or Cucumber Chips or drying fruit.

    Instant Pot

This machine is perfect for creating AIP friendly meals and bone broth. My current favorite is my Instant Pot Chicken Soup. It’s a workhorse that will make your life so much easier.

    Kitchen Items

    Pots and Pans

Cooking is a big deal when you're eating AIP as you make most of your own meals. It's best to invest in some safer and durable cookware. Any of the pots or pans listed in my 'Best Pans for Chemical Free Cooking' would be a fantastic gift.

    Kitchen Gadgets

I've listed additional kitchen gadgets that are great for people on the AIP diet over in this post. Any of them would make great gifts.

    Glass Straws

I personally use these straws on a daily basis. I’ve tried to remove as much plastic from my home as possible but definitely appreciate being able to still use a straw. They don’t leave an aftertaste like bamboo or metal straws and can be washed in the dishwasher.

    Wood Spoons

I prefer to use wood spoons (rather than plastic) in my kitchen. These spoons would make a beautiful gift.

    Mason Jars

These mason jars are perfect for storing bone broth! However, as I remove plastic in my home in favor of glass storage containers I find myself using these frequently for other types of food storage.

Did you have any of these AIP friendly wish list items? I’d love to hear your thoughts so please rate and comment below.
