Use this Marinated AIP Mozzarella Cheese recipe as the base for any charcuterie board. It’s a delicious and simple recipe that is sure to impress your Whole30, Paleo/AIP and dairy free peeps.
Can you have dairy free cheese on Paleo?
Possibly. After you’ve gone through reintroductions and are able to eat Paleo, there are some dairy free cheeses that you will be able to eat. However, Paleo cheese may include nuts which are not allowed during the elimination phase of the autoimmune protocol. Actually, there are a lot of ingredients that may show up in dairy free cheese that you probably won’t be able to tolerate during the elimination stage.
Is cheese AIP?
Cheese from a cow (or goat, camel, etc.) has dairy and it’s not allowed during the elimination stage of the autoimmune protocol. However, I do have my AIP Mozzarella Cheese which is used in this recipe.
How to make Marinated AIP Mozzarella Cheese
1.Slice the cheese and place it in a resealable container or serving dish. The dish needs to be big enough to hold the slices of cheese and be immersed in the oil.
2. In a small bowl, combine the oil, seasonings, garlic and salt. Stir to combine. Then pour over the cheese.
3. Let the cheese sit and marinate for at least 30 minutes then serve.

Helpful Info for All Recipes
- I always use extra virgin olive oil in all of my recipes unless stated otherwise.
- I always use Himalayan sea salt or Celtic sea salt, unless otherwise noted.
- The majority of my recipes are strict AIP or include notations for reintroductions. However while I make every effort to label non-AIP ingredients and recipes sometimes they slip past me. If you have questions, please ask in advance.
